Cocoa Tanning is pleased to present the Celebrity Spray Tan. While utilizing the VersaSpa system, we use California Tan products to ensure the best colour and skin care ingredients. This revolutionary spray tan is a three solution multi session that includes a pre-bronzing pH balancing treatment, a bronzing treatment, and a Lift Peptide to blur fine lines and boost collagen.

Our Celebrity Spray Tan goes on clear, takes under 15 mins, you can shower in 3 – 6 hrs, and results last 5-7 days.

PRE-BRONZING PH BALANCING TREATMENT
Fortify your skin and enhance its color with a blend of organic aloe, green tea, ginseng, witch hazel, ginger, peach extracts and other professional-grade ingredients. Calfornia Tan’s pH balancing treatment instantly balances your skin’s pH levels, increases absorption by dispersing its natural oils, and maximizes hydration before each session.
BRONZING TREATMENT
Through a proprietary blend of DHA, amino acids, aloe and other professional-grade ingredients, California Tan’s bronzing treatments work to condition and moisturize your skin, while dramatically increasing its color depth. WHAT IS A MULTI - TREATMENT SESSION?
A VersaSpa Multi-Treatment Session is a process of combining 3 formulations in the same session. A full body pH balancer, the bronzer itself as well as a C-LIFT Peptide.
IS IT ORGANIC?
Our spray tan is as organic as possible. Along with organic blueberry, spinach and cranberry, organic aloe vera is also included to help hydrate and nourish the skin. The bronzing ingredient that is called DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is EcoCert approved but does not qualify for organic certification due to the nature of the product.
WILL THE BRONZING FORMULA STAIN MY CLOTHES AND SHEETS?
The VersaSpa Sunless Bronzing formula is a clear formula and completely water soluble. Users may notice some initial cosmetic color on the inside of their clothing, but this color will almost always wash out in cold water. Occasionally we offer tinted solution so because of this we always recommend dark clothing and sheets following a spray tan. Further, when working with any full body bronzer, wearing darker clothes is recommended
The only permanent transfer we have experienced is a fresh blonde immediately following a hair appointment. If you have bleached your hair, we recommend waiting 24 – 48 hours for your hair follicles to close.
On the first day of your spray tan we recommend sleeping with dark or old sheets on your bed, if that is not possible, we recommend sleeping in pants, a long sleeved shirt and use an old pillow case.
WHAT'S IN THE SUNLESS BRONZING FORMULA THAT MAKES ME TAN?
DHA is primarily derived from sugar beets and sugar cane. A simple carbohydrate, DHA, is currently the only substance that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved to tan the skin and is the most commonly used ingredient in sunless tanning. When used correctly, DHA is a non-toxic way to create a temporary browning effect on your skin. The substance achieves this by reacting with amino acids in the protein keratin of your skin to produce a sun-kissed look.
WHAT IS C-LIFT PEPTIDE?

Our Custom Airbrush Services
Skin Finishing Custom Airbrush Spray Tan available at all locations
Skin Finishing is a customized treatment performed by a specially trained spray tan technician. Results will vary based on the amount of information you share with your technician.
Each Skin Finishing service starts with a pH balancer and at least two layers of bronzer. Most often, the first layer of bronzer is to cover the full body (as requested), and the second layer is to complete any missed spots, darken up any specific areas or sometimes the second layer is to darken up the full body. Further, bronzer can continue to be added if an extra dark results is requested or if the skin is absorbing at a faster rate.

We understand how much goes into preparing for a fitness competition. Getting your spray tan just right can be a make or break for judges. Here at Cocoa we have sprayed competitors who have taken home trophies so we know what it takes to get noticed.
We utilize the California Tan Revved Competition Spray Solution or Norvell Blackout.
EXTREME DARK SPRAY TAN
We recommend two passes to achieve your desired result. The first pass is done the night previous to your show and the second pass is done before your hair and makeup on show day. We will adjust our studio hours to fit your check in time however we request 72 hours notice to make these accommodations.
For best results we recommend UV Tanning for one month prior to competition.
